HTML/CSS Developer

RFX Technologies is looking for two additional full-time HTML/CSS developers, primarily to work on one of our larger client’s web sites.

Once hired, you will be reviewing PhotoShop mockups, developing plans to reproduce them in HTML/CSS, and executing those plans. You will be using a text editor such as HomeSite to develop your HTML and CSS code. You will be working in a team environment with graphic designers, back-end developers, our existing HTML/CSS developers, and others.

Exceptional experience with both HTML and CSS is required. Your code must be compatible with all major browsers, compliant with web standards, simple, clean, well-indented, and easy to maintain.

Attention to details such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and alignment is also extremely important.

The following skills are also desired:

• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery, and/or other programming languages and frameworks, is a plus. Some of our existing developers, with whom you will be working, are experienced with JavaScript and other programming languages, along with jQuery and other frameworks.
• Moderate experience with Adobe PhotoShop and/or other graphics tools will be helpful. Your primary use of Photoshop will be limited to acquiring details on colors, fonts, measurements, and extracting individual graphic elements to export as images. For those with no PhotoShop experience, those tasks are easy to pick up.
• Experience with Flash and/or other multimedia tools will be helpful. Our client does employ dedicated Flash developers.
